Growing up in Port Arthur, Ontario, I actually did walk a mile to school on six foot snow banks. From a humble beginning, I gradually rose through the ranks until I finally reached my comfort zone, which is currently the pinnacle of my career. Most of the important life lessons were learned in my early years, especially kindergarten, where having fun and getting along with others became priorities. Graduation from university became possible only after I realized that if you attend all your classes, the final exams are not a mystery. Most of the rest is a blur, except for the recent discovery that the speed of time is directly proportional to your age. The sole exception to this is when you’re holding a lead in the third period. Or maybe sitting through your performance review.
